Ludlow Orchestra is an enthusiastic amateur orchestra consisting of around fifty players. It draws its members from Ludlow in South Shropshire and surrounding area. We meet fortnightly on Sunday evenings in Wistanstow Village Hall, just north of Craven Arms, off the A49. The orchestra performs up to three concerts each year locally.
Ludlow Orchestra was founded in 1970 as a string orchestras to accompany Ludlow Choral Society. The orihestra is delighted to be reunited with them for the forthcoming performance of Beethoven's Choral Symphony.
Vacancies There are currently vacancies for cello, tenor trombone and timpani players. Extra string players are always welcome. Please contact us if you are interested in joining the orchestra.
